1 Yogurt 250 gms Not sour
2 Sugar 3 tablespoons Powdered
3 Saffron Pinch Dissolve in little milk
4 Cardamon 3 or 4 Powdered
Preparation
  1. Hang the yoghurt in a muslin cloth, in a cool place until all the liquid from the yoghurt has drained off. (Approx. 3 hours)
  2. Tie a clean muslin cloth tightly over the mouth of a large clean vessel.
  3. For every cup of thick yoghurt, add 3/4 cup of sugar. Rub the above mixture firmly over the cloth,in small quantities, till the whole mixture is sieved.
  4. Add the dissolved saffron, and cardamom powder to the sieved mixture. Mix well and transfer to a glass bowl and refrigerate till cold
  5. Serve with poories or roties
